Nathan humiliated Daniel, telling everybody that Daniel was the reason behind the Bankruptcy of the Guidotti Import's. Nathan also accused Daniel as a the suspect in killing his mother, Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro (Rita Avila). Daniel, on the other hand, was not threatened by Nathan's humiliation. Instead, Daniel told Nathan that he will reveal everything that Nathan did towards his wife, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes. Daniel thought that Nathan would stop humiliating him but still Nathan kept insulting him. On the other hand, Tomas was scared of trouble and stopped Nathan from insulting Daniel.
